Report on a Christmas New Year Bazaar

Introduction:

As a student of Jesenice Grammar School, I was asked to write a report on a Christmas New Year Bazaar that took place on the 3rd of December 2019. The purpose of the report is to evaluate it and suggest some changes.

Organisation:

The event was advertised with posters on a school bulletin board; furthermore, students also invited their parents to visit. Students themselves were also invited to attend either to help selling the products or to buy something. Overall the event was well organised and went smoothly.

The Event:

Students baked cookies, prepared scented creams, drew pictures and made homemade wood products for the event a week beforehand. Some students were asked to help teachers to sell the products that they made. The event was organised in a small gym inside the school from 10 am to 1 pm and from 3.30 pm to 6 pm. Students and teachers had improvised stalls with products which were sold to incoming customers.

Personal Comments:

In my opinion, the event was fabulous, primarily because of the great Christmas music; in addition, the customers were also astonishingly kind. The only downside of this event was that there were not many visitors, which is, in my opinion, because of the overpriced products. The event must be organised again next year since it brings the school a delightful atmosphere and some extra money.
